Working with CDCU
General contractors interested in working with CDCU to rehabilitate existing homes and new construction can submit a contractor application form . Women and minority businesses are encouraged to apply.
Community Development Corporation of Utah prides itself in providing affordable homes in a cost effective manner. All new homes are built to meet Energy Star® requirements and rehabilitation of existing housing stock includes consideration of improvement of energy efficiency, water conservation and accessibility.
Special experience or certifications that are preferred but not required include:
- Lead based Paint or Asbestos Abatement
- Energy Star projects
- Home energy efficiency retrofits
- Home accessibility and
- Federal, State and local housing standards and regulations
- BPI certifications
Submission of an application is for the purpose of pre-qualifying to be in our contractor pool and is not a guarantee of work.
Only complete applications will be considered.
