Attending a home buyer education class increases the likelihood of successful homeownership by empowering home buyers with knowledge to make better decisions in the home buying process and as they live as a homeowner. The class is recommended to ALL first time home buyers! CDCU's in-person class is HUD-Approved and fulfills the requirement for any loan or assistance program a home buyer may be applying for. Take the class early in the process to get the most benefit from it. Attending a Pre-Purchase Counseling Session is required to obtain a certificate of completion. This class is 7 hours long and costs $35 per household. Pre-registration is required.

Many lenders/programs have approved FRAMEWORK™ to meet their requirements for homebuyer education. Check with your lender/program to make sure online homebuyer education is accepted.
